Executive Director Search for ACEC-SD and SDES
Executive Director – Professional Engineering Associations
The American Council of Engineering Companies of South Dakota (ACEC-SD) and the South Dakota Engineering Society (SDES) seek an executive director candidate to lead each professional group. Each organization is an established non-profit 501c3 entity. The Executive Director will report directly to the Executive Board of each group.
General Duties:
Provide leadership to each entity, carry out defined respective strategic plans, guide meetings, advocate for member organizations, correspond with the National organization of each group, provide professional development opportunities, general accounting and budgeting, lobby on matters which concern one or each group, and communicate to and on behalf of each entity.

Pay/Benefits:
Pay will be dependent on qualification. Each professional organization will contract separately with the hired executive director and split the total pay between the two groups as determined by each board of directors. Approved expenses including travel related expenses will be paid in addition to the established salary. Additional benefits are not included and are the responsibility of the hired individual.
